To ask the Parliamentary Secretary, Lord Chancellor's Department if she will introduce proposals to amend restrictions on the timing of the release of Cabinet papers. [33123]

§ Ms Rosie Winterton
The release of Cabinet papers which have been preserved as public records of historical interest is subject to the provisions of the Public Records Act 1958 as amended by the Public Records Act 1967. There are no current proposals to amend these provisions.
