§ Mr. Keith Bradley
The Government are committed to jury trial for those cases that warrant it. Sir Robin Auld's review of the criminal courts, the report of which was published last October, made a number of recommendations with major implications for trial by jury. The Government are considering the report and will announce their conclusions by way of a White Paper in the spring.
