To ask the Parliamentary Secretary, Lord Chancellor's Department what proportion of the departmental expenditure limit in 2001–02 will be accounted for by salary costs and pension contributions. [32007]

The proportion of the departmental expenditure limit in 2001–02 of £2,754,934,000 to be accounted for by salary costs and pension contributions is 9 per cent.

This figure excludes expenditure on judicial salary costs which fall to the Department.
