To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry what plans she has to negotiate no-strike agreements in the public sector. [31356]

My Department has no powers to negotiate such agreements, except in relation to its own staff.

I have no plans to negotiate agreements of this nature in relation to DTI staff.
