§ Dr. Howells[holding answer 18 December 2002]: The code relating to the provision of television services for the deaf and visually impaired, to be produced by Ofcom, will include guidance on the technical standards to be attained for subtitling. We would expect the code to include aspects of style and presentation, as the ITC code currently does.
