HC Deb 18 December 2002 vol 396 cc828-9W
Mr. Dodds

To ask the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland how much was spent in each of the last three years in Northern Ireland in providing free personal care for those living in sheltered accommodation or living in their own homes. [87331]

Mr. Browne

Information on the cost of providing free personal care for those living in sheltered accommodation or living in their own homes is not available. The provision of personal care includes services such as district nursing, home help, occupational and physiotherapy and applies to a number of programmes of care. Information at the level required could be provided only at disproportionate cost.
