§ Dr. Howells[holding answer 12 December 2002]According to the information supplied to us by the distributing bodies for the national lottery awards database, the Workington constituency has been awarded 5,042,599 and Cumbria has been awarded 42,150,64 in Lottery funding between 11\12\99 and 10\1202. The average amount awarded to each UK constituency over the same period has been £5,362,359.
