§ Baroness Scotland of AsthalThe European Parliament (Representation) Bill, which was introduced into Parliament on 21 November, contains a provision to require the Electoral Commission to recommend to the Lord Chancellor which electoral region it would be most appropriate for Gibraltar to be a part of for the purposes of European Parliament elections. The Electoral Commission will have to make this recommendation by September 2003.
