§ Mr. MorleyIn 2001, the UK claimed £2.5 billion from the EU agriculture budget. Of this, £3 million was reclaimed due to non-compliance with EU rules on agricultural expenditure (which includes control procedures). The Commission has the right to reclaim further sums should additional cases of non-compliance come to light.
