§ Hilary BennHer Majesty's Prison Service has in place a framework to address the needs of prisoners with low, moderate and severe drug misuse problems. This includes detoxification services which are available in all local and remand prisons, a drug service known as CARATs (counselling, assessment, referral, advice and throughcare) and voluntary drug testing which are both 121W available across the prison estate. There is also a range of intensive treatment programmes available in 60 prisons.
