§ Clare ShortWe are working closely with others to try to help bring about a swift and peaceful resolution to the conflict in Cote d'Ivoire. We have received several appeals for humanitarian assistance from the UN and other organisations and we are considering how to respond to these in the light of the changing circumstances in the country.
