§ Ms Rosie WintertonThe cost of the pay award for staff in the Lord Chancellor's Department, including its agencies and NDPBs, in 2001–02 was as follows:
- LCDHQ and associated offices—£.1,125,529.
- Court Service—£6,240,000
- Public Guardianship Office—£276,000.
- The Legal Services Commission—£792,000.
The Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service (CAFCASS) came into existence in April 2001 and pay was previously the responsibility of the services which preceded it.
Proposals for pay in 2002–03 are still under consideration.
