§ Dr. Howells[holding answer 26 April 2002]: My right hon. Friend the Secretary of State and I frequently draw the attention of hon. Members and ministerial colleagues to the digital television action plan in correspondence and in responses to parliamentary questions. The action plan sets out the Government's proposals to encourage the switchover to digital television for the benefits it can bring to consumers and to the economy.
