§ Mr. BlunkettReviewing legislation in the light of Human Rights Act is a continuous process. In its judgment of 21 March 2002 in the case of R v Shayler, the House of Lords held that sections 1(1) and 4(1) and (3) of the Official Secret Act 1989 are compatible with Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights.
