To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many people living in the Greater London area are on hospital waiting lists. [50590]

The latest published waiting list figures for London residents are as follows:

• In-patients (February 2002): 139,424
• Out-patients waiting 13 weeks or more (December 2001): 61,826.
