§ Mr. WillsThe only private finance initiative (PFI) or public private partnership contract signed by this Department in the last four years to have gone through a preferred bidder stage was the PFI contract for the Probate Records Centre. There was no change in contract value between the preferred bidder stage and contract signature in July 1999. PH contracts for magistrates' courts have not been included in this reply because they are let by local authorities.
