§ Mr. TimmsMy Department provides additional ring-fenced support to raise the achievement of ethnic minority pupils and meet the needs of those for whom English is an additional language through the Ethnic Minority Achievement (EMAG) strand of the standards fund. EMAG replaced the education element of the Home Office's Section 11 grant scheme in April 1999.
