§ Mr. HuttonThe refugee health professionals' steering group has disbursed all £500,000 allocated for the year 2001–2. This has been given to projects targeting all health professionals, not just doctors. The funded projects provide services to help refugee health professionals prepare to take up work in the UK. A further £500,000 has been provided for 2002–03 and bids will be invited in April.
