§ Baroness BlackstoneThe results of the Central Council of Physical Recreation's recent research are a useful contribution to the debate about the general financial health of sport at the local, amateur level. The report makes a case for a measure of relief to local clubs but the survey on which it was based did not ask clubs to express opinions about how such relief should best be delivered.
