To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions if he will make a statement on the replacement of(a)Broadway and (b)Pebworth fire stations. [47598]

Responsibility for the provision of an efficient fire service, including replacement of fire stations where this is deemed necessary, rests locally with the fire authority, in this case, the Hereford and Worcester Combined Fire Authority.
