To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how many Tomahawk cruise missiles have been fired by British forces during the present action in Afghanistan. [11014]

[holding answer 29 October 2001]: Royal Navy submarines fired a small number of Tomahawk land attack missiles on 7 October and 13 October.
