HC Deb 26 October 2001 vol 373 c464W
Mr. Luff

To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Skills what plans she has to make special additional payments to the Worcestershire local education authority for the 2002–03 financial year. [9349]

Mr. Timms

[holding answer 22 October 2001]: Worcestershire local education authority will benefit from the general increases in funding for 2002–03: a 6 per cent. increase in education standard spending; a further £85 million in standards fund grant; and a 2.75 per cent. increase in the direct grants to schools. We have no current plans to make payments in addition to these general increases.
