§ Mr. Timms[holding answer 22 October 2001]: Worcestershire local education authority will benefit from the general increases in funding for 2002–03: a 6 per cent. increase in education standard spending; a further £85 million in standards fund grant; and a 2.75 per cent. increase in the direct grants to schools. We have no current plans to make payments in addition to these general increases.
