§ Jacqui Smith[holding answer 22 October 2001]: For 2000–01 and 2001–02, grants totalling £3,733,000 were paid under section 64 of the Health Services and Public Health Act 1968 to 54 organisations for projects 159W concerned with housing, care, or support for older people. In some cases, the projects concern disabled people in general and are not limited to older people.
