HL Deb 16 October 2001 vol 627 c86WA
Baroness Noakes

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether the New Millennium Experience Company Limited, English Partnerships, the Millennium Commission or a government department is accountable for achieving value for money on the sale of the Millennium Dome site; and if more than one body is accountable, how responsibility and accountability will be shared. [HL661]

Lord Falconer of Thoroton

English Partnerships, which manages the Dome sale process and owns the site, and the Department for Transport, Local Government and the Regions as the sponsoring department for English Partnership, are both fully accountable for achieving value for money throughout the sale process.
