HC Deb 30 November 2001 vol 375 c1179W
Mr. Steen

To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs what plans she has to introduce special movement pig licences for farmers in Devon. [15626]

Mr. Morley

[holding answer 16 November 2001]: There are no such plans. However, the restrictions on pig movements in Devon were eased from 27 November when the county was granted FMD Free Status. Movements still require a licence from the local authority.
