To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many full-time equivalents per 10,000 population work in social services in(a) Buckinghamshire, (b) Milton Keynes and (c) England. [19316]

As at 30 September 2000 the number of whole-time equivalent personal social services staff employed by local authorities per 10,000 population was 22.1 in Buckinghamshire, 32.1 in Milton Keynes unitary authority and 43.4 in England.
