To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport what arrangements she has made to monitor the impact of the new opportunities for school and community sport has on the fight against crime and drugs. [18342]

The new opportunities fund is currently developing proposals for the evaluation of the new opportunities for PE and sport programme. The impact of the programme on levels of crime and drugs misuse will form part of the evaluative work.
