To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions what discussions he has had on modifications to the proposed Northern Bypass to include an additional bridge over the River Lune. [18249]

Ministers have not conducted any such discussions. Lancashire county council are currently reviewing proposals regarding the M6 Heysham link.
