To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will list those local bodies which were set up under legislation which is the responsibility of his Department since May 1997. [17614]

(2) if he will list those public bodies to which his Department appoints members and which are not listed in Public Bodies 2000. [17612]

Treasury Ministers also make a total of nine non-executive appointments to the Management Boards of the Royal Mint, Office for National Statistics and National Savings, as well as 105 part-time lay appointments to VAT and Duties Tribunals.
