HC Deb 26 November 2001 vol 375 cc716-7W
Mr. Heald

To ask the Secretary of State for Health what proportion of people in contact with specialist mental health services are able to access crisis resolution services at any time. [11525]

Jacqui Smith

[holding answer 31 October 2001]: The latest information held centrally indicates that there were 35 crisis resolution teams in place as at October 2000. The NHS plan has a set target of having 335 crisis resolution teams established by 2004. Progress towards meeting this target is being monitored through the comprehensive review process. By 2004 all people in contact with specialist mental health services will be able to access crisis resolution services.
