§ Dr. Howells[holding answer 19 November 2001]: The Department for Culture, Media and Sport has 462 staff in post (as at 15 November 2001):
453 in London;
Three in areas benefiting from EU objective 1 status; and
Six in areas with objective 2 status.
The Royal Parks Agency has 224 staff in post in London only. They have no staff with objective 1 or 2 status.
