§ Ms KeebleFrom 1 April 2002, local authorities' capital programmes, including the provision of home improvement grants, will be funded from within a 'single capital pot'. Subject to that overall allocation, it will be for each authority to determine spending priorities.
For the years 2003–04 to 2005–06 the total capital funds available to local authorities will be decided as part of the Spending Review 2002, due to conclude next summer.
