HC Deb 16 November 2001 vol 374 c969W
Mr. Mains

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department what consultations he has had with(a) the Law Society, (b) the Bar Council, (c) the Justices' Clerks, (d) the District Judges (magistrates courts), (e) the lay magistracy and the Crown court judges in relation to the proposed law on religious incitement; and if he will place a summary of their responses in the Library. [13691]

Mr. Denham

[holding answer 9 November 2001]: Because of the need to place an emergency anti-terrorism Bill before Parliament urgently, it has not been possible to undertake a formal consultation exercise.
