To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Skills if she will rank the top 30 local education authorities according to the percentage of day pupils eligible for free school dinners.[14070]

The data requested on the percentage of day pupils eligible for free school dinners in England for January 2000 have been placed in the House of Commons Library. Data for January 2001 will be placed in the Library as soon as they are available.

To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Skills what percentage of school children eligible for free school dinners attend schools in each region of England and Wales. [14071]

Information on school meal arrangements for maintained nursery and primary, maintained secondary and special schools by local education authority area in England for January 2000 has been placed in the House of Commons Library. Data for January 2001 will be placed in the Library as soon as they are available.
