§ Mr. TimmsThis Government are investing unprecedented sums to modernise schools. Since 1997, annual capital and recurrent investment in schools has increased by almost £5.5 billion in real terms, from £20.6 billion to over £26 billion. Our plans allow for a further real terms increase of £2.5 billion over the next two years.
