§ Lord Falconer of ThorotonThe standards for barrier provision on motorways and all-purpose trunk roads are set out inThe Design Manual for Roads and Bridges which is produced by the Highways Agency. In March this year the Deputy Prime Minister asked the Highways Agency to review its standards for nearside safety barriers and that work is taking place.
