To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions what responsibility(a) Railtrack and (b) Virgin Rail have for the provision of disabled access at Lockerbie railway station. [12923]

Lockerbie station is owned by Railtrack and leased to ScotRrail who are the "Stations Facilities Owner" with responsibility for managing the station on a day to day basis. ScotRail would be responsible for overseeing the provision of enhanced facilities at the station.
