§ Kate HoeyNational Lottery Commissioners are appointed on the basis of their abilities. The most recent Commissioner, Timothy Hornsby, was appointed 479W following an application process which fully complied with the processes and guidance of the Commissioner for Public Appointments (CPA). There was an agreed job specification, the post was advertised and the shortlisted candidates were interviewed by a panel which included independent assessors as required by the CPA.
