§ Ms Quin[holding answer 16 March 2001]The total UK stocks of rendered material as at 4 March 2001 were 426,474 tonnes of MBM and 215,442 tonnes of tallow.
The total amount of reimbursement represented by these stocks, claimable at incineration, is approximately £150 million.
