Mr. Robert AinsworthPlanned capital investment in new development of housing stock by registered social landlords (RSLs) in 2000–01 funded through the Housing Corporation's Approved Development Programme amounts to approximately £619 million. This is expected to lever in a further £656 million of private finance. Provision of new building by local authorities planned through the Housing Revenue Account amounts to £55 million and through Local Authority Social Housing Grant to £174.9 million in 2000–01.
