The Transport Minister, Keith Hill, has asked me to reply to your recent Parliamentary Question about costs incurred by the Highways Agency in clearing waste, erecting barriers, and maintaining security following its occupation by travellers in April 2000.The costs were £13,800, £3,700 and £17,200 respectively.
