To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security when he last met(a) the National Autistic Society, (b) Mencap, (c) the Royal National Institute for the Blind, (d) the Royal National Institution for Deaf People, (e) the Council for Disabled Children and (f) the Down's Syndrome Association to discuss the provision of benefits. I last met the National Autistic Society in February 1999; Mencap in November 2000; the Royal National Institute for the Blind in May 2000; and the Royal National Institute for the Deaf in May 1999. I have not met the Council for Disabled Children or the Down's Syndrome Association, though I have recently written to the latter about a report it produced on benefits.
