To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions what his timetable is for taking forward policy in the light of the consultation paper "On control of aircraft noise from civil aircraft". [2]

My Department received some 590 responses to this detailed consultation. We shall announce our conclusions and bring forward legislation in due course.
