To ask the Parliamentary Secretary, Lord Chancellor's Department if he will make a statement on the Government's policy toward Protocol 12 of the European Convention on Human Rights. [952]

§ Mr. Wills
The Government have no present plans to sign and ratify Protocol 12, but will monitor its interpretation by the European Court of Human Rights.
