§ Mr. JamiesonHer Majesty's Government do not subsidise transport links between Great Britain and Northern Ireland or offshore islands. The Scottish Executive subsidises services to offshore islands for which it is accountable to the Scottish Parliament. Responsibility for expenditure on transport links in the three years prior to the introduction of devolution lies with the Secretary of State for Scotland.
