§ Mr. TimmsInformation showing the schools in Coventry that have benefited from refurbishment and repair investment under the New Deal for Schools programme in the four years from 1997–98 to 2000–01 is shown in the table. Over the same period, schools in Coventry have also benefited from other capital refurbishment and repair funding, including formula capital funding devolved to every maintained school from 2000–01. Coventry local education authority will have details of funding going to individual schools.
Capital investment for schools already allocated to Coventry local education authority from 2001–02 to 2003–04 amounts to £20.8 million. It is for the local education authority to decide how and when to invest this money, along with any other funding from its own resources, in line with school building improvement and repair priorities in its local Asset Management Plan.
