As of 28 June 2001, the five largest operational deployments of UK service personnel overseas are: the UK contribution to NATO operations in Kosovo; the UK contribution to NATO operations in Bosnia; the UK contribution to coalition operations in the Gulf; the UK's training, advisory and assistance team in Sierra Leone and the UK contribution to UN operations in Cyprus.
