To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security if he will place in the Library an estimate for each parliamentary constituency of(a) the number of beneficiaries from the Winter Fuel Payment and (b) the number of recipients of free television licences. [147806]

The information is not available in the format requested. The latest figures for Winter Fuel Payments and estimates of the over-75 population who may benefit from a free television licence for each constituency in Great Britain have been placed in the Library.

TV Licensing administers the free television licence scheme for the BBC. I understand that geographical breakdowns of the number of free licences are not available.
