To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if Russia will participate in the forthcoming NATO theatre ballistic Missile defence feasibility studies; and if he will make a statement. [146636]

The Ministry of Defence is not aware of any plans for Russian participation in the forthcoming NATO theatre ballistic Missile defence feasibility studies. There have, however, been discussions between NATO and Russia in recent months on the scope for co-operation on theatre Missile defence and related issues.
