§ Mr. BoatengPrior to the current financial year (2000 –01) a flat rate annual charge for sewerage costs was made which did not reflect the actual cost to the Prison Service of providing the service. The charge for this financial year is based on the rateable value of each property and is equivalent to the charge which would be made by the local water authority.
